Friendship & Creativity

A few weeks ago I made friendship bracelets with some of the girls at the shelter. We also made dreamcatchers. :)

One More Month

I have one more month left of my mid-twenties. I decided to plug in 'mid-twenties' to google, just for kicks...

 Yep, sounds about right.

And what's next...?

Love Etc.

A new documentary called Love Etc. is playing in Philadelphia for a week beginning July 22. It explores five very different relationships of couples living in New York City.

Anyone interested in going?

Lina Said Yes!

Yesterday I hosted an engagement party for Lina and Carl on our friends roof deck (thanks Rob and Cambria House!). Their engagement fell right around the time Lina's best friend Sara planned to visit so we quickly got things together for a little happy hour. Thanks to all who were able to make it and share such sweet words with the couple.

We had two cocktails: Vodka & Soda (Lina's favorite) and Whisky with a splash of water (Carl's favorite) and allowed everyone else to bring their drink of choice.

And here is three simple snacks I made:
*White Bean Roaseted Red Pepper Dip
*Mini Caprese
*Spicy Black Beans and Avocado Canapes

Love to Lina and Carl!

Summer Rules

Jupiter, Florida

Summer is flying by! I can't believe it's already July. I've decided that to make the most of it I really need to set some rules for myself.

So here they are:
  1. Leave work by 6:30pm every night (minus emergencies).
  2. Take two vacations. One down, one to go. I just got back from visiting friends in West Palm Beach!
  3. Read three books before summer is over. I'm currently reading The Happiness Project.
  4. Ride my bike more, drive my car less.
  5. Involve myself in something extremely fun every weekend.
  6. Spend time with family.
  7. Go to the beach.
  8. Complete applications for graduate school.
  9. Get a real haircut.
  10. Break a few rules!
